Disclaimers for Property Insights - Australia

Complete disclaimer guidelines for displaying Property Insights data in your applications

This page contains all mandatory disclaimers for implementing the Property Insights package. These disclaimers must be displayed when displaying data pulled from the Property Insights API (or bulk). Please see below for the required disclaimers.

  

New Disclaimers API

Instead of static disclaimer content, we now provide an API with dynamic disclaimers that ensures you always display current disclaimer text. This approach allows us to update disclaimer requirements without code changes on your side.

• Product: property-insights

• Company Name: Your organization name

• Property ID: The unique identifier for the specific appraisal subject property

Logos

Within the disclaimers section, we require Valocity's logo to be displayed. We recommend using the primary blue/grey logo for most implementations, but we also provide 3 additional variations to suit your site's design context, including dark mode compatibility. Download the logo-pack here.
In the near future, logos will be made available in the dynamic API.

 

Implementation Recommendations

We recommend displaying these disclaimers prominently in your application using one of these approaches:

  1. Collapsible Section: A dedicated "Disclaimers" accordion that users can expand

  2. Modal Dialog: A pop-up disclaimer window triggered on page load or user action

Both options work well - choose whichever best fits your application's UX flow. Ensure the "Disclaimers" label is clear and visible.


Placement

Display disclaimers in both:

  1. The appraisal/report view

  2. Any internal app where terms and conditions are presented
