Why are some Valocity AVMs currently not available?

Our iVals, automated valuation models (AVMs) are updated weekly and undergo a comprehensive quality assurance process. When AVMs meet certain outlier conditions, they're temporarily suppressed to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

When AVMs are flagged:

An AVM may be unavailable if it exhibits any of the following characteristics:

  • Unusual confidence levels — Valuations showing extremely low or high confidence scores that fall outside our normal parameters
  • Significant deviations from historical trends — Values that shift unexpectedly compared to the property's historical valuation pattern
  • Volatility concerns — Substantial spikes or drops compared to the 12-month average

When any of these conditions are detected, the AVM is temporarily suppressed until the valuation stabilizes and meets our quality standards. This protects against providing inaccurate estimates and ensures you're working with reliable data.
