# Managing your own profile

## Update your profile

Keep your profile up to date so your details and images appear correctly across the site and in your CMA.

### How to access your profile

1. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.
2. Select **Manage Profile**.

You can also choose **Sign Out** from this menu if needed.

### What you can update

On the profile page, you can add or edit:

- **Preferred first name**
- **Contact number**
- **Bio** for the **Agent Introduction** section in your CMA 
    - Maximum length: **1800 characters**

### Add your profile photos

You can upload two different photos:

- **Profile avatar** — used on the Nexus site
- **CMA image** — used in the **Agent Introduction** section of completed CMAs

To upload either image:

1. Click the relevant image area.
2. Select your photo in the upload window.
3. Center the cropper on the image after uploading if needed.

### Where your updates will appear

- Your updated **profile avatar** will appear in the **top-right corner of the screen**
- Your **CMA image** will appear in the **Agent Introduction** section of completed CMAs, if that section is included
