A Liquefaction layer is now available across the Wellington region, adding to the flooding and services layers released last week.
How it works-
Liquefaction sits under Flooding Data in the Map Layers panel, alongside City Flood Depths and Overflow Paths.

Areas are shaded by susceptibility, and hovering over an area shows its rating: Low, Moderate, or High.

Stormwater and wastewater node layers have also been added, complementing the pipe, channel, and connection layers already available.

These layers are available on the search results map view and in the map section of the property summary page.

As with all map layers, these only appear where data exists for the property being viewed.
Why it matters
Ground stability is a live concern for Wellington vendors and buyers, and liquefaction risk has until now meant a separate check against council sources. Having it on the map alongside flooding and services data means the full picture sits in one place during a client conversation.

Wastewater infrastructure and Watercare utility layers are now available in Auckland, showing manholes, pipes, and water/wastewater networks operated by Watercare.
