Valocity Nexus Release 4.8

This release kicks off the year with a mix of CMA customisation improvements, and new tools designed to help agents work faster, with more confidence, across Nexus platform

🌟Compatibility assessment for selected comparables in the CMA

This enables agents to explicitly rate selected comparables as Similar, Superior, or Inferior, improving transparency and consistency in CMAs.

How it works

  • The assessment is manually selected by agents

  • Available only on selected comparables

  • No default value is applied

  • One value can be selected at a time:

    • Similar

    • Superior

    • Inferior

  • The selected assessment is displayed and printed alongside the comparable in the CMA

  • Coming later to the Digital CMA

Why it matters

This gives agents clear control over how comparables are assessed and presented in a CMA, improving transparency for clients. By requiring an explicit selection with no default, assessments are intentional rather than assumed, resulting in more consistent and defensible comparisons.

🌟Optional Cover Page for Longform CMA

Introduces the ability to include or exclude the Cover page when generating a Longform CMA, giving agents more control over how their CMA is presented.

How it works

  • A new option is available on the Customise CMA page when Longform CMA is enabled

  • Users can tick or untick the Cover page option

  • When unticked, the system generates the Longform CMA without the default Cover page, allowing agents to use their own PDF cover if desired.

Why it matters

This gives agents greater flexibility to customise their CMAs and align them with their own branding, without being forced to include a default cover page they may not want.

🌟Building Consents Map Layer

Introduces a new map layer that allows agents to quickly identify nearby properties with recent building consents, making due diligence and area research faster and more visual.

How it works
  • A new map layer toggle, “Building consents (last 5 years)”, is available under Area Research
  • When enabled, the map displays consent pins for properties with a building consent issued in the past 5 years
  • Clicking a consent pin opens the standard property card
  • The property card displays an additional data point:
    • Latest consent issue date (most recent if multiple exist)
    • Clicking this takes the user to the Building Consents section on the related property summary page.
  • If multiple consents exist within the 5-year window, users can view full details via the Property page
When the toggle is off, the map returns to its default state

Outlook-c1h21jy0Why it matters

This gives agents a fast, spatial view of recent development activity in an area, helping them identify nearby building consents without digging through individual reports. It improves due diligence, supports more informed conversations with clients, and keeps the experience consistent within the existing map and property card UI.

🌟Expanded Length for Notes for Comparables

The character limit for notes added to comparables has been increased, allowing agents to provide more context while maintaining the existing PDF layout.

How it works
  • The character limit for comparable notes has been increased to 300 characters
  • At least one additional line of text is supported in the PDF CMA
  • UI copy has been updated to reflect the new character limit

Why it matters
This gives agents more flexibility to add meaningful context to comparables without being constrained by an overly restrictive character limit, while preserving a clean and consistent CMA layout.
