Who is Valocity?

Find out who Valocity is and what we do

When you apply for a home loan or require a property valuation, your Bank or Mortgage Broker may order a valuation on your behalf through the Valocity platform. This article explains how the process works, Valocity’s role, and what to do if you have questions or concerns about your valuation.

What is Valocity’s Role?

Valocity provides the technology platform used by banks, brokers, and valuers to manage the valuation process from start to finish.

We:

  • Facilitate the ordering and delivery of valuation reports.

  • Support the process of raising and resolving valuation queries.

  • Ensure Quality Control: Our team of Registered Valuers reviews reports to ensure they comply with:

    • International Valuation Standards

    • Industry guidance papers

    • Bank-specific requirements and methodologies

We do not:

  • Provide or complete the valuation report ourselves.

  • Influence the Valuer’s professional opinion or market assessment.

As outlined in Section 5.1 of Valocity’s Terms and Conditions, we remain independent of the Valuation Firm. The valuation is solely provided by the independent Valuer engaged.
